The company was established in January 2006 when Frikkie Jordaan with Carel van Wyk left the partnership Jordaan Oosthuysen Nangolo Quantity Surveyors to start a new Quantity Surveying Office. While with Jordaan Oosthuysen Nangolo Quantity Surveyors professional services were provided to various clients with their distinctive type of projects and requirements. Vast experience has been obtained in Project Management and Construction Cost Management as well as other resources such as Information Technology, Computerisation, Human Resources and Communications and all other aspects of Quantity Surveying. As a young company Jordaan & Associates strives to provide professional and sustainable services to our clients. In order to adhere to our social responsibility of skills transferring and education we are also involved in the provision of sponsorship to talented students from previously disadvantaged backgrounds whose dreams are to join the QS profession as well as providing training to those who need it to achieve their professional goals. As a result of our strive to explore new avenues in the Namibian construction industry our company has formed a joint venture with WSP Facilities Management from South Africa. This joint venture, WSP/Jordaan Facilities Management, has already secured key contracts in Namibia (e.g. Shoprite Namibia) which we manage on a daily basis.
